Registration at Reception

Prior to each heat therapy treatment, please report to the reception on the first floor. A rehabilitation staff member will then call you.

Heat packs are applied directly to the targeted area (such as the back or joints) to enhance circulation and facilitate muscle relaxation.

They are used in the treatment of joint and spinal pain, muscle contractures, and chronic rheumatological conditions.

Contraindications

  • Acute inflammatory conditions
  • Severe cardiac and circulatory disorders
  • Fever
  • Hypersensitivity to heat
  • Open skin wounds
  • Pregnancy (when applied to the spine)
