Before each examination, please check in at the reception on the 3rd floor; a specific doctor will call you in afterward.
Notice for clients
We kindly ask clients: Please bring all imaging studies you have available (X-rays, CT, MRI, etc.). If you do not have the images, please confirm with the referring physician that the images were sent to Sagena (by mail or via PACS). Without these images, the neurosurgeon cannot assess your case!
In the neurosurgery outpatient clinic, we cannot guarantee an exact appointment time. We ask for your patience. The explanation is as follows:
Neurosurgeons alternate between routine check-ups and dressings and very complex cases requiring review of X-ray images, so it is not possible to predict in advance how long each examination will take.
To accommodate you, we try to schedule additional patients outside the usual time slots, which may mean spending a longer time in the waiting room. Sometimes, however, this is not possible.
The clear advantage for you is a significant time saving – you do not have to travel to Ostrava! By the way, we are the only facility in the region with a neurosurgery outpatient clinic.

- The neurosurgery outpatient clinic covers the full spectrum of CNS disorders. Patients may undergo surgeries on peripheral nerves, spinal operations, and even the most complex brain procedures.
- At the "Health Center," we perform minor surgical procedures – outpatient carpal tunnel surgeries. Patients do not need hospitalization and can go home immediately after the procedure, returning only for follow-up visits.
- Diagnostics are enhanced by magnetic resonance imaging, which is available directly in the building.
