Oncology

The oncology outpatient clinic provides comprehensive examinations and subsequent care for patients with oncological diseases, with the exception of skin, lung, and gynecological cancers, which are managed in specialized clinics. Additional specialized oncological care is primarily provided in collaboration with the Comprehensive Oncology Center at AGEL Hospital Nový Jičín. The clinic is intended for all patients with a previously diagnosed oncological condition.

Scope of Provided Oncology Services

  • Follow-up care for patients after completion of chemotherapy, biological, immunological, and radiotherapy treatments
  • Administration of hormonal oncology therapy
  • Provision of nutritional support during oncological treatment, including prescription of sipping and enteral nutrition
  • Collaboration with physiotherapy and rehabilitation in preparing patients for surgical treatment
